A cable and winch is the most reliable method for securing a pool cover on an above ground pool. To install, feed the plastic-coated cable through the grommets around the outside-edge of your winter pool-cover. Then feed opposing ends of the cable through either side of the winch. Use the ratcheting tension drum to tighten the cable. Press the thumb-lever to release pressure on the winch. The 100' cable will fit above ground round pools up to 28' and oval pools up to 18' x 33'.
